What people say
Olly's training was engaging and practical. Our staff felt confident handling emergencies after just one day. Highly recommended for any school.
The FAW course was thorough and well-paced. Olly's background in education really shows - he made complex topics accessible for everyone.
Excellent paediatric first aid training. The hands-on practice gave our nursery team real confidence. We've already booked our refresher.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
How long are first aid certificates valid for?
Most first aid certificates are valid for 3 years. The HSE recommends annual refresher training to keep skills current. We offer half-day skills updates to help your team stay confident and competent.
Do you deliver training on-site at our premises?
Yes, we deliver courses at your workplace, school, or chosen venue across Sussex, the South East, and London. On-site training is often more convenient and cost-effective for groups, and we can tailor scenarios to your specific environment and risks.
What is the difference between EFAW and FAW courses?
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is a 1-day course suitable for lower-risk workplaces. First Aid at Work (FAW) is a comprehensive 3-day course for higher-risk environments or where you need more trained first aiders. We can advise which is right for your organisation.
Are your paediatric courses Ofsted compliant?
Yes, our Paediatric First Aid courses meet EYFS and Ofsted requirements. The full 12-hour course is required for staff counted in ratios, while the 6-hour emergency course is suitable for new staff awaiting the full qualification.
How many people can attend a course?
We typically run courses for groups of 6-12 learners, which ensures everyone gets hands-on practice time. For larger teams, we can arrange multiple sessions or additional trainers. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.
